Hi all, welcome back to the blog.
I thought you might be interested to know what I've been getting up to recently. It's not all sewing related, I do have some exciting new products in development at the moment but more on that another time!! Today I wanted to show you that I've been getting stuck into much messier activities, one of which was some printing.
In preparation for the festive season (too soon to talk about I know!) I thought it would be fun to cut some lino blocks and dig out the paints. I carved an abstract snowflake pattern on one block and a design using the word 'Joy' on the other.
It's a long time since I've done any printing but thankfully I remembered to carve the text backwards so that it was legible when printed!
I think I'm going to make some Christmas cards for the shop and maybe some postcards to put into my orders during the festive season. I've got more blank blocks waiting to be carved though so I won't be stopping there!
